In 2023 Adrian launched a comprehensive and ground-breaking video course on the learning platform Udemy. His intention was simple.
Be honest. Be audacious. Make a difference.
The way most healing is taught is largely nonsense. Complicated rituals, made-up processes, tired old rehashed stories, and fanciful ideas based on nothing more than imagined ideas on how shamans, wizards and magical monks might have worked. Udemy is full of courses by energy workers, healers and shamans who have probably never healed anyone. How can we tell? Because they all say the same old things, there is nothing new. Everything is a derivative of everything else. There is no authenticity, no truth and nothing is born from experience. It's dishonest and it's wrong.
"So many healers and energy workers are like cosplayers. They dress the part. They learn the words. They have certificates. But there is nothing there. There is no substance. No depth. It's a role they are playing. And for anyone who scratches below the surface, the emperor has no clothes. The knowledge is absent. Ask them a deeper question and the answer will be repeated from a book or reseacrhed online.
And for anyone genuinely interested in healing, perhaps someone who has done some courses, done some healing, and had some success, this isn't enough. They are getting wise to these cosplayers. They know the basics. They need more. They need real healing. But even the apparently advanced courses are little more than the basics with some made-up 'secrets' and fancier rituals.
Think about it. Healing is the most powerful and natural process of all. How could it evolve in such a way that secrets were a thing? How could it require secret symbols, complex rituals and elaborate hand gestures? Wherever we find this sort of complexity, we find the mark of man. And specifically, we find the ego of man. Each so-called healer, energy worker and shaman adds their 'thing' to the process. Making it theirs. Little better than a dog marking its territory by lifting its leg.
This isn't real. We deserve more. We all deserve better. If someone chooses to be a healer, if someone answers the call, they deserve to know the truth. How many healers have been lost because they couldn't get the help and tuition they needed? How many gave up because the healing just wasn't working, when they were perhaps on the brink of something amazing? I would estimate that millions have been frustrated and lost on the path of healing. It is a tragedy"
But the world is crying out for healers, and healers are crying out for truth. Healing is a profound and sacred calling. Yes, we can all heal. But those of us who decide to make a difference, to put ourselves out there and help our fellow humans on this journey are making a choice that will resonate through our communities and our lives.
Healing is easy. But being a healer is hard. It will challenge us in ways we had never imagined. In healing, we heal too, and in that healing, we must confront our wounds. We all have them. We are human. Healing will provoke us and force us to ask questions of ourselves. But the price is worth it. The juice is always worth the squeeze. The journey of the healer is the hero's journey. And we deserve the truth.
The course has been an enormous success. It is rare to see a course on Udemy with exclusively five-star reviews. It comprises almost 12 hours of video content. Adrian decided to sell it for next to nothing despite it being perhaps the most advanced course on real healing available anywhere in the world. The base price is around £150 or $200. But Udemy's business model involves almost permanent sales, so the course is usually available for 10% of the base price. Therefore anyone can buy the course and change their lives.
"I guarantee there is no course available that reveals the information I teach, and the level of mastery I offer, and I doubt there ever will be. If there was, I assume it would be priced at a level that would exclude all but the richest from buying it. Most people jealously guard their knowledge and give away tantalising titbits at inflated prices. I have given it all away for the price of a few coffees.
Why?
Because it's your birthright. It's my birthright. It belongs to us. Not for a few rich men and women to covet and sell to the highest bidder.
This course gives you everything you need. Doubtless, there is more I can teach, it never ends, but this is the fundamental path to healing mastery and there are no up-sells. Its all there.
If I die tomorrow, I can die knowing very little has been lost with me. And the main body of my 32 years of healing is left for you and others to build upon. As a legacy, that is all I need.
The great American jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk has been quoted as saying, “A genius is one who is most like himself.” By that standard, Monk was an undisputed genius. He has long been revered for his unique improvisational style. He was decades ahead of most of his contemporaries. The musician's musician. For me, Monk was the first pianist who made me hear the space around the notes as well as the notes themselves.
Monk was a musical genius almost beyond compare. And that's what I want for you. Don't follow the old path. Don't rehash. Don't copy. Improvise. I want you to see the space around the notes. I want you to be "most like yourself". You don't need to copy anyone. You DO need to embody the healing and become the healing, as Monk became the music. Be the notes, be the healing, and be the spaces in between.
Hear those spaces. Listen to the silence.
